Ho hum...

Music: Depeche Mode

Dream last night:

I made a super CD and I gave it to a teacher I used to have like my old Phych teacher and he had a classroom with a lot of plants on the third floor. I was just visiting or something so I gave him the CD (or maybe I was chekcing on it?) It was playing an Adiemus song and the song broke up so I checked it. It was in a star shape instead of a circle and it was falling apart. I think it was made up of unbaked, flat, dry clay. I remeber placing a broken bit (where the song was) back onto the CD and hoping that it would work long enough to listen to it.

Then there was something about a bus.

Then I was in CA with my family visiting my grnadmother at church. It wasn't really CA though... felt more like an alternate dimension. I remember some meeting and they were assigning callings or something and wanted to take pictures.. a shadow bulliten box on the wall had sugar (maybe peanut butter) cookies in different shapes for people to order for the Merrie Miss girl club thingy, I admired the first 3 or 4 (There was one shaped like an egg!) before I was pulled away.

I remember walking through some corridors and opening a door that lead to the outside, something about a barrel that I had to move in front of the door to close it but it didn't work or something.

dreams

Music for today: Adiemus

Yesterday I dreamt about flying... or maybe floating. I was in a new large house and I stayed up at night, floating. And then I traveled around the house and found my mom to prove to her that I could fly through air. I remember floating through a Star Trek styled aberetum (can't spell- Plant room with flowers). A slightly disturbing dream simply because I don't know how to really turn it on or off and I'm always afraid that I won't be able to stick back to normal gravity once I start, and that also that I wouldn't be able to get it to work ever again.

Last night I had some weird dream about the almost-teenaged boy who slide bettween realities (like the show Sliders). He picked up two friends and they landed in a reality (most were similar to his normal one) where he had died when he was younger and his parents didn't know who he was. His father saw him and his friends out on the front yard and invited them in and stuff and they talked and then he decided to drive the kids to school (which they certainly didn't want for a number of reasons: most notedly because they don't exsist at the school they claimed to go to.) I remember that they had planned to use some instant transportation device to go somewhere before the dad decided to drive them to school. Then off of a book of sets of characters the skunk or maybe the dog characters (there were about 10 of them in a set) somehow got selected and came down and made the kid's hair grow until he had this big brush of black hair on his head and most of his face... I remember that he wasn't happy that these guys had come by to bug him and he was scared that his Dad (who didn't really know who he was anyway) wouldn't recognize him as the kid from before. The characters were kind of 2d in a 3d world and floated around, calling him 'kid' or 'lil bro'. Weird.

Then my brain got all weird and there was something about coloring books... buying Precious Moment coloring books at the store with my mom and a bunch of other stuff I can't recall.

There was something about being in my old old house again... I think I pulled up the flat grey carpeting and loosened the bare wood rectangle around the left window... everything was surrounded by frames of wood. There was something about computers, and transfering Japanese music with Jessica, she gave me song a long time ago and I was giving it to her back without knowing that she had been the one to make it and such. Then there was something about Kelly, she saw me with my other friends and thought that I had other best friends, but I put my arms around her and said 'you are my dearest and bestest friend' and then everything was ok. I think I was preparing for a sleepover?

music music music

I love Rufus Wainwright.

He is so awesome. I love all his songs. :) I've been basically listening to nothing but for the last week.

past dream

Just wanted to write this down so I don't forget.

It was a track dream. I was back in SC with the old team, perhaps just visiting. I remember that they were going to do a replay race in a sort of club event.. it had lots of teams, but it all felt very 'practice-ish'. I remember sitting on a couch to watch the relay or something, or maybe I was talked into particpating without even knowing it? For whatever reason, the track wasn't on the track- it was on the track but when you came around the far side, you ran off the track onto the grass to complete a loop through the couch (passing the baton at the couch or something). Very odd. I remember that Arione had run off with the baton as 1st or 2nd on a 4x4 relay and she went to pass it to a new boy (he seemed like a middle school kid, maybe a small freshman?) and somehow someone passed me a baton! I guess instinct kicked in because I got up off of that couch and started running. I was a little surprised and unsure because I hadn't been sprinting in awhile and wasn't warmed up or anything but I gliding around the track and passed the new kid (which surprised some people >.<).

I guess I decided that I didn't want to simulate hitting the wall or the last 100 meters of an awful race because the next thing I remember was going to some sort of track banquet with 1st Sarge, some runners and lots of grownups in a very expensive calssy house. With chandeliers. Maybe we were just visiting? I rememebr some of those books filled with life savers rolls at the end, someone had them on a silver tray and someone else told me I could have some. It was interesting.

blah blah

We've just been packing and stuff lately. Planning to move to Georgia in a few weeks I think.

Not much has been going on. I've mostly been working on my website. Lots of dreams but I haven't felt like spending time writing them down. Last night's was an interesting one though.

I think that it was influenced by the stories I've been reading like Snape's Vocation and A Year Like None Other.

For some odd reason it started with me and James and my mom stranded back at our old old house (the one I grew up in), waiting to move to Georgia. We just had a few things with us, a couple beds and stuff.

And that's where it got weird, it's like a cross between the characters from those two stories took over the dream and in a smiliar place, or more like a bungalow, Snape and Harry were chilling for the summer. At night, Snape kept parentally reading classical literature to Harry or reading out quotes like they were treats or something. o.O And then he told him to go to bed. There was something about flying on a hang glider or something and at first Snape said he couldn't do it, then said yes because he didn't want the porch or 4 other different big things around- his usual sarcastic manner. Then there was something about Neville... I think Harry was feeling a little bad for Neville because Neville was stuck at his grandmother's and couldn't try out this hang gliding spell or something. Then Neville came to stay or something... (S's Vocation)

Then I think I was myself... I vagely recall playing in a cool attic and then cleaning the stairs while mom and James were packing or doing something in the kitchen. I went backwards down the stairs facing the top and it was like some sort of hidden space appeared.. like you could only see somethings if you travel and look in the right direction. Well I found an Easter basket covered with some napkins. I carried it back up to the kitchen and it turnedd out to be a tray of big large chocolates covered in coconut stuff and stuff like that with the large gumdrop material made bunnies... I had a dream that I got such a thing from the Christinsen's around Easter time and now this one was the one my brother got that he just left at the bottom of the stairs because he couldn't eat the chocolates. I was happy and was wondering if they were still good to eat. :} I think that they were okay caus ethey tasted alright to me, in any case I don't think I much cared. those large gumdrop sculpted bunnies were a real masterpiece though, with eyes and tails and whiskers sculpted out of different kinds of candies.

I still can't get over the fact that Snape was reading Harry bedtime stories... from classical literature. o.O
